How to submit your writing:

1. Choose either the Essay Center or Career Writing Center from the pull-down menu. Use the Essay Center for any academic writing, or Career Writing for resumes, cover letters, or essays.
   
   
2. Fill in all the fields listed in red.
3. To attach your essay, click on the "Browse" button and locate your essay on your hard drive or floppy drive.
4. Click "Submit."

1. You will receive an e-mail from SMARTHINKING when an e-structor has commented on your writing. .
2. Go to your Inbox from your SMARTHINKING Home Page.
3. Locate your essay in your Inbox and click on the name of the essay.
4. You will see the e-structor's comments on your essay, organized by the areas in which you asked for help and a link to the "marked-up" version of the essay.
5. To download the marked-up essay with the e-structor's comments, click on the blue "Markup" text under the yellow E-structor's response" bar. Save the document on your hard drive or a floppy. (Hint: make sure that you make a note of the name of the essay and where you save it.)
